Production Service

This location is in Great Yarmouth.

We are a boatyard with our own private dyke just off the river Thurne on Womack Water on the Norfolk Broads. We are nicely placed between Potter Heigham and Ludham with St Benets Abby not far from our Yard. We have a fleet of 14 historic 1930s mahogany and oak sailing yachts and 7 wooden half-decker (day boats). Our sheds were built in 1930, we use an old winch to bring our fleet into the sheds and we mostly use traditional boatbuilding skills when maintaining our fleet during the winter months; which means all those tools around the Yard too. Our Yard and our boat called Lullaby was used in the BBC production of Coots Club and the Big Six with Lullaby's transom being change to Teasel for the filming. We also still have titmouse the dinghy and Dreadnought the dinghy still in the sheds from this production. Our Yard and boats are regularly used for fashion and lifestyle shoots as well as television programmes such as The 7 Rivers with Griff Rhys Jones to name one.
