This location is in Broadland.

This location and surrounding site comprises Salhouse Broad itself where we have boat moorings, a beach area for launching canoes and kayaks (we hire these out), open green space looking out to the Broad we have varied habitat including reed bed, woodland (including oak, poplar, chestnut), we have boardwalk around the edge of the broad and a long footpath from the main car park (about a 10 minute walk), there is a section of the Broad called the 'Wherry cut' a narrow stretch off the main broad suitable for canoes/kayaks/SUPs only. We have an island where we have more boat moorings and we also have boat moorings along the edge of the river bure. We have a campsite, containing a composting toilet and a camping pod (used for storage). The campsite borders the farm, which has both arable and pasture farming. The site in total measuring around 240 acres. On the wider site there is a private Broad which is the Salhouse 'Little Broad' which tends to be full of Lilly pads and invites wildlife (otters, herons, cormorants, black headed guls etc). There is a boat shed and a small boat mooring here too.
