Our historic farm in as a film location. Whats on site Original WWll buildings, Approx. 100 acres of farm land Farm house - 3 story 5bed with very large trees and natural garden. Woodland large trees and parts of old buildings. 2 large chicken sheds A bit of history: The 389th Bomb Group, known in more familiar terms as "the Sky Scorpions", flew strategic bombing missions in B-24 Liberators from our location. They also sent detachments to join bases in North Africa at Benghazi No. 10, Libya, between 3 July 1943. The original Chapel/Gymnasium building are the only major building from the camp area to remain here on the family farm. The building features an original mural of Christ on the cross in the chapel and of a map of Europe in the Chaplins quarters next door. The buildings and paintings were uncovered again when my father-in-law bought the farm 20 years ago.
