Built in 1907, Gresham Hall is an Edwardian manor house west of Cromer, in north Norfolk, and is perfect for a proper British countryside holiday. The house was renovated in 2019, and is made up of four self-contained properties that can be rented together for up to 20 guests. (In addition, there is further accommodation on the estate in other properties, available at extra cost.) Upper Wing Apartment sleeps 4 The Upper Wing is on the second floor of the hall, and has sloping ceilings. There are two bedrooms (one en-suite), both with king size beds (one of which can be separated into twins). Theres a sitting room, small kitchen and a family bathroom. Middle Wing Apartment sleeps 4 The Middle Wing apartment on the First Floor has two en-suite bedrooms, a television room (with sofa bed), a sitting room and a kitchen with a table that seats 6. Ground Wing Apartment sleeps 2 The Ground Floor Apartment has access for those whod rather avoid stairs (although there are three steps up into the garden). There is one bedroom and bathroom, a sitting room and kitchen. Main House sleeps 10 The main part of the house has five bedrooms, sleeping up to ten guests. Two of the bedrooms are super kings that can be converted to twin beds, and one is on the ground floor. All are en-suite, and one of the bedrooms has its own slipper bath, perfect for Cadburys Flake fantasists. The master bedroom has a four-poster bed, and views over the garden. The Main House has plenty of room for all guests to be together, 20 people in the dining room of the Main Hall, either in the kitchen or the dining room (excellent excuse for splitting the children from the grownups, and doing high tea and a dinner). There's a large, comfortable drawing room (with a ravishing Arts and Crafts influenced ceiling) and open fire. The entrance hall has deep sofas and a wood-burning stove. The walls are wood-panelled, and have cricket bat motifs the hall was originally built by Colonel Batt. Outside Space The Main House and Apartments share the extensive gardens, within which are a tennis court, hot tub and lots of shrubbery and spinneys, for den-building or endless treasure hunts.
